- I have been playing and performing traditional Irish
music for the past 15 years, and am an active member
of the Irish music scene in Israel.
I began listening to Irish music as a child, and renewed
my interest in instrumental music in the 1980s. My first
band, "Wild Mountain Thyme" performed jigs and reels
together with a variety of other ethnic styles.
After several trips to Ireland to learn more about Irish
music, I acquired a bodhran, bones, and my first Irish
bouzouki, which I added to my guitar, banjo, autoharp,
and other instruments. In 2001 I upgraded the factory-
made Sherwood bouzouki to the ten-string model I now
play, and this is my main instrument.
I am available for performances with Irish musicians in
